A note from LCS Student Body President

So whether you are nervous and scared of the pandemic, or you don’t care and are excited to have school online, know that the Lord is overseeing the whole situation, and it will work out for good.
To the Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors, be encouraged that this isn’t your final year of high school. Have hope for future years and even though this season of life is kind of crazy, enjoy being with your family and spending time with them.
To my Seniors, I know this is tough because many of you have had dreams of your senior year (including myself) with prom, retreat, New York and graduation. I want you just to know that even though we are missing out on some things, that these will not be your glory days, they are yet to come! The best parts of your life have not happened yet, and I really believe that. You have your whole life to get started on, and with all this time being at home I want you to really think and plan about your future, and get stoked. Seriously, no senior class has ever gotten their senior year stolen from a pandemic before, so if we aren’t in history books or if Mrs. Jones isn’t teaching about us in a history class in 20 years, I will be pretty shocked.
Know that I really do love you guys, and wanted to share this with you because I want to encourage all of you and let you know that I am here for you. Use this time for the best and to get things done! Spend time with Jesus 🙏 #lighthouse #seniors #classof2020 #trustingod
Love you guys
